Nissar joined the K-Lab team in the spring of 2009. Nissar is a junior at Duke in biomedical engineering and is pursuing a career in medicine. Nissar is currently working on a study examining the effect of increased weight on changes in lower extremity kinematics and kinetics.

Justin joined the K-lab team in the fall of 2008. He is a sophomore at Duke pursuing a degree in chemistry with a minor in Spanish. Justin is currently working on data collection for various projects and the redeuction of data for the increased weight project.

Marian joined the K-lab team in the spring of 2009. She is a junior in the Pratt School of Engineering, pursuing a biomedical engineering degree. Marian is a member of the varsity field hockey team at Duke. She will be working on a project investigating the effect of cleat type on the kinematics of cutting on field turf.

Alicia joined the K-Lab team in the fall of 2007. Alicia is a sophomore at Duke pursuing pre-medical studies and a degree in Global Health. She is currently working on a study examining the effect of increased weight on changes in lower extremity kinematics and kinetics. During the fall of 2008 and spring of 2009, Alicia has been working on a project examining the effect of a carbon fiber shank on lower extremity kinematics, kinetics, and in-shoe pressure.

Romin joined the K-Lab team in the winter of 2009. He is currently a senior at East Carolina University and visiting us for an internship during the spring semester. Romin is currently working on effects of unanticipated cutting on field turf along with reducing data for the increased weight project.

Elyse joined the K-lab team in the Winter of 2009. She is a sophomore in the Pratt School of Engineering, pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Psychology. Currently Elyse is helping with data collection and reduction on a variety of projects including the increased weight project, the carbon fiber shank project as well as the unanticipated cutting project.

Teresa joined the K-Lab team in the fall of 2009. She is a junior at Duke pursuing pre-medical studies, majoring in Biology and Evolutionary Anthropology. She is currently working on a study examining questions related to gait symmetry in patients that have ankle osteoarthritis and are preparing to have a total ankle replacement.

Michelle joined the K-Lab Team in the spring of 2009. She is a junior at Duke pursuing a degree in biology with a minor in French. Michelle is currently working on a project that will examine the changes in loading on different parts of the foot caused by a carbon fiber shank placed in the shoe.

Winston joined the K-Lab Team in the spring of 2008. He is a senior in the Pratt School of Engineering, pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering. Winston will be involved in a study exploring the effect of cleat type on unanticipated cutting kinematics on Fieldturf. Winston has recently been accepted to graduate school at Duke University and will be staying in Durham for a few more years.

Tradelle is a junior at Duke University pursuing pre-medical studies. Tradelle is a member of the varsity track and field team at Duke. He will be assisting with Dr. Queen's research on fifth metatarsal injuries in runners. Specifically Tradelle will be involved in a project that will be examining the effect of a carbon fiber shank on lower extremity kinematics, kinetics, and in-shoe pressure.
