Program Coordinator; Exercise Physiologist

Greg McElveen, MSEd, MBA, CSCS

 
Greg leads Duke University's programs for professional and elite athletes as well as masters athletes. Greg’s clients have included a world champion racquetball player, a national champion swimmer, an All-American field hockey player, a national class miler, professionals in football and triathlon, an international referee in soccer, state champions in lacrosse, bowling, and racquetball, state high school soccer player of the year, and local champions in track, racquetball, and bowling, plus cyclists, runners (milers to marathoners), basketball, tennis, volleyball, and badminton players, shot putters, rowers, kayakers, cross country skiers, martial artists, golfers, body builders, alpine climbers, and adventure racers. Greg also works with clinical patient with coronary artery disease, heart failure, and osteoporosis as well as patients who are post-stroke and who have just had surgery.

Exercise Physiologist

Erica Anderson, MS

Erica received the Academic Excellence in Graduate Studies Award from Ithaca College. At Ithaca College, the United States Olympic Training Center and Duke University Erica has:
 
  • set up exercise programs for a range of clients - from intercollegiate athletes to cardiac patients
  • conducted biomechanics research on Olympic Figures Skaters
  • performed VO2-max/lactate threshold testing on endurance athletes
  • conducted field and lab testing on athletes across several sports (soccer, volleyball, basketball, football, etc.)
 
Currently, Erica continues to serve the full spectrum clients from athletic to general fitness to clinical clients through lab, field, gym, weight room and/or aquatic approaches.
